Logistics and implementation
With your information on the volume of building materials, we will gladly create a non-binding rough estimate for you early on. If you include Pneumatit® in the invitations of tenders, you will receive more favorable offers for its admixture, allowing you to make a more informed decision.
We have experience with a wide range of technical conditions and methods.
In direct coordination with construction companies and concrete plants, we guarantee professional and streamlined implementation – in structural concrete, screeds/subfloors, mortar, plaster. In all materials based on cement and anhydrite.
Properties and procedure
Pneumatit® is liquid and has a blue coloration. Delivery in individual dosages tailored to the techniques used by you during mixing and casting at the concrete plant or on-site.
In glass or polyethylene containers between 250 ml and 1000 liters. Delivery by mail or freight forwarding.
Storage
As a purely biological additive, Pneumatit® must not be stored with chemical additives/agents but should only be combined during mixing in fresh concrete! This particularly applies to air entraining agents. Accordingly, all system components must be thoroughly cleaned before using Pneumatit®. However, cleaning afterward is not necessary.
1 liter of Pneumatit® per 8 m3 of fresh concrete or 125 ml per 1 m3 of fresh concrete. Attention: Flexible solutions as needed; for example for the requirements of concrete plants or when plastering.
For on-site and factory concrete. The more consistently Pneumatit® is used, for example, including foundations, masonry (mortar) and plastering, the better the indoor climate.
Add to fresh concrete or fresh mortar in truck mixers, batch mixers or drum mixers at the concrete plant or construction site. Mix for about 4 minutes: done. Longer mixing (e.g., in a rotating truck mixer from the factory) is possible but not necessary. – Attention: As a purely biological additive, Pneumatit® must not be stored with chemical additives/agents but should only be combined during mixing in fresh concrete! This particularly applies to air entraining agents. Accordingly, all system components must be thoroughly cleaned before using Pneumatit®. However, cleaning afterward is not necessary.
Pneumatit® should be stored cool but frost-proof and protected from light. In this way, it remains durable without loss of quality for at least 3 years. Exposure to light can cause color loss that does not diminish its effect (see also above: Storage).
No special protective measures are necessary; Pneumatit® is chemically inert, non-flammable and non-toxic. A safety data sheet can be downloaded.

Certifications
Pneumatit® is chemically inert. The technical properties of the building material during mixing, casting, setting and afterward are not affected. Physics, chemistry, statics, color, haptics etc., remain completely unchanged. There are also no interactions with other additives.
The effects of Pneumatit® occur specifically and exclusively at the biological level (life forces). This is evidenced by our approvals in the EU and Switzerland based on strict standard tests.

And is it worth it?
Your place of power. Those who choose Pneumatit® think from the whole – and into the future. Because Pneumatit® is not just another chemical additive used during the casting and the setting of the concrete. It is an entirely biological additive – designed to enhance life in the years and decades that follow.
Those who build must calculate costs.
Your decision
You determine the balance.
You are the one who establishes the added value that a pneumatized place of power signifies for you – in terms of vitality, emotional and organic well-being, regenerative capacity, inspiration, and satisfaction – with all their consequences.
In all our experiences, the additional costs for Pneumatit® remained below 1% of the total construction costs.
This means that, given the usual cost uncertainty of ± 10% at the start of construction, the cost center for Pneumatit® amounts to a maximum of 10% of the general cost uncertainty at the beginning of your project.
Financially, Pneumatit® hardly has any impact. Nevertheless, it requires a separate decision.

An entrepreneur
Berthold Leibinger, who diversified the formerly medium-sized machine tool company Trumpf and built it into the world leader in laser technology:
We also try to build cost-effectively, but ultimately the price per square meter is not decisive. The desired quality always takes precedence. It is a simple fact that we spend the best hours of our lives in the working world. Every effort to design this environment technically and aesthetically well is therefore justified. We demand exceptional performance from our employees. These are easier to achieve in a good environment.

Construction Costs and Pneumatit®
Pneumatit® requires your decision. However, financially, it hardly affects the budget.
To our knowledge, the costs for Pneumatit® in any realized project never exceeded 1% of the total construction costs.
We are happy to show you real cost examples from five different construction projects using Pneumatit®.
Price increases and cost uncertainty have severely affected the construction sector in recent years. Please note: We keep Pneumatit® prices stable over the long term.

Concrete prices and Pneumatit®
Concrete prices and Pneumatit®
Each construction project has its own cost structure. In addition, there are economic fluctuations and general price disparities.
Therefore, it is only possible to give a limited general answer to the question of the anticipated additional costs.
Every few years, we survey a number of concrete companies in Switzerland and Germany about their list prices for standard ready-mix concrete (norm C25/30). The figures shown here were collected in November 2020.
For the sake of comparability, the euro prices were also converted to Swiss francs (CHF) according to the annual average exchange rate of the Swiss Federal Finance Department. The prices have been rounded only slightly. For Pneumatit®, the list price (without quantity discount) of CHF 25.– was used, and for the examples from Germany, the same conversion method was applied.
Price Ranges for Standard Ready-Mix Concrete (CHF/m³)
Switzerland | Germany | |||
---|---|---|---|---|
without Pneumatit® | with Pneumatit® | without Pneumatit® | with Pneumatit® | |
Lowest price | 178.– | 203.– | 138,– | 159,– |
Average price | 191.– | 216.– | 150,– | 171,– |
Highest price | 197.– | 222.– | 170,– | 191,– |
The aim of this small survey is not completeness, but rather to provide the big picture. And this is always the same:
In Switzerland, inexpensive concrete with Pneumatit® is almost identical in price to expensive concrete without Pneumatit®.
In Germany, the price for average-priced pneumatized concrete is still below the price for expensive concrete without Pneumatit®.
