Tender: Include Pneumatit® in your invitation of tenders even if you have not yet definitively decided on its use. This way, you will have a variant comparison, and the subsequent procedure will be easier.

Delivery times: In consultation with the operational stakeholders at the plant and on site, we ensure a smooth and streamlined process tailored to the technical conditions and procedures of your project. Therefore, please send us your order at least 2 weeks before the concrete work.

On-site admixing: For on-site application, such as underfloor screeds, it may be useful to admix Pneumatit® automatically with the water supply. Our suitable proportional doser “Pneumatron” can be rented (contract and billing handled by the construction company).

Transport costs: In our offers, we calculate a cost ceiling for delivery by mail, but then charge the actual delivery costs. We endeavor to provide the most streamlined and cost-effective option. In the event of unforeseen partial or follow-up deliveries or changes to the delivery method, costs may increase.

Shipments abroad require more time. They are usually cleared by us and sent from Germany.

Return of surplus quantities: This is possible by arrangement, but exclusively in still sealed containers.

Billing: Pneumatit®, as a client’s additive, is usually billed directly to the client (or their representation). Even where this is not the case, we maintain maximum transparency. The plant charges the general contractor for the additional costs for admixing.

Factory mixing fees: These are not included in our offers. The usual maximum is CHF 3.- / EURO 2.50 per m3 of building material. Binding agreements exist with industry leaders. We minimize the effort in the plant by adapting our logistics and formula (containers, dosage, concentration) to the infrastructure and mixing ratios there. Subsequent plant cleaning is not necessary. There are no dangers or the need for protective measures (persons, fire, accidental release, environment).

Storage and protection: Pneumatit® must not be stored with chemical additives / agents but should only be combined during mixing in fresh concrete. All system components must be thoroughly cleaned before using Pneumatit®. Special applications: For underfloor screeds, prefabricated elements (including fire-resistant), waterproof structures with system guarantee, and more, we are happy to recommend our partner companies. Where possible, we have specially adapted and optimized Pneumatit for their products.

Pneumatit® was created as part of the eco-social project Fintan, which was founded in Rheinau CH in 1998. Among other independent businesses, this project includes the Gut Rheinau GmbH – the largest biodynamic (Demeter-) agricultural farm in Switzerland.

Biodynamic concrete

For their own construction projects from 2006-2010 on Gut Rheinau’s estate (new cowshed, two multi-family houses), a somewhat groundbreaking research project was launched.

The aim was to create a concrete that met the biodynamic requirements for operational vitality. A concrete that was friendly and healthy for humans and animals alike. A concrete that would support individual development and growth. And this was achieved – in the form of the liquid additive, Pneumatit®.

Pneumatit® had been developed without any intention of selling or marketing the product, it was made solely for private use. However, it unexpectedly garnered a slowly but steadily growing demand from the outside, which (almost by itself) developed into a professional small-scale business operation.

It was not until the beginning of 2016, ten years after its first application, that an active market presence began.

Strategy phases

The activities from 2004 to 2015 were responses to external needs. The strategy was of an emergent nature. Building on this, a conscious planning process has been in place since 2016.

2004 – 2007 Product Birth. Initial question. Development of Pneumatit® until the completion of its first installation.

2008 – 2011 External Approval. First order of Pneumatit® from outside. Gradually increasing demand, purely through word of mouth. Initial infrastructure, pricing, and terminology. For a long time, as a “hobby” and kitchen production, later in the first dedicated premises. At some point, it is realized that this should become a company.

2012 – 2015 Establishing the Business. Out of the blue, a first employee joined the company. A second employee followed. A business plan and the founding of Pneumatit GmbH as a one-person company. First improvised written materials followed by website development, logo creation, and a more professional appearance.

2016-2019 Successful Startup. First active public market presence. Founding of Pneumatit AG with capital increase. Target market strategy with a focus on cold acquisition based on a differentiated startup plan.

In the history of Pneumatit® – and hopefully throughout this entire website – you will recognize our values background. The ideals to which we are faithful and by which you should measure us.

Our central concern is life. Nature, mankind, the social sphere – the entire world urgently needs to connect with new life forces. What “Life” is must be understood and implemented anew and much more deeply.

This can only be achieved by people who consciously and collectively decide to respond to needs that the future already has today. We find these needs around us, and we find them within us.

No one applies Pneumatit® who has not made a decision that goes beyond their own present.

Wherever this decision is made, enthusiasm and sober competence come together, creating meaning and power.
